Student Sales, Marketing and Web Projects Representative

A flexible, part time opportunity for students who want guided, practical experience across sales, marketing, website development, and delivering useful client work.

This is a commission based role, not a traditional internship. Alongside business outreach, you will train in website planning and development, project workflows, and the careful delivery of completed client work. It suits someone who is comfortable learning, communicating professionally, and following through.

Part time

Flexible hours that work around study schedules.

Bahrain based

Local business work and regular Bahrain check ins.

Commission based

Payment follows agreed completed client work.

Agency skills

Sales, design, marketing, web and AI skills.

A deliberately small opportunity

Close guidance, not a crowded programme.

Over the past eight years, MaroonDM has worked with only around 15 students. We keep the opportunity selective so each student can receive real context, clear feedback, and experience that is useful beyond a placement line on a CV. Along the way, students can see how a focused agency earns trust, scopes work, and builds lasting client relationships.

The role

Help the right businesses begin a clearer digital conversation.

You will help identify businesses that may benefit from a more effective website, stronger local visibility, or clearer digital communication. Then start respectful, relevant conversations.

  • Research suitable businesses and decision makers in Bahrain.
  • Understand the basics of MaroonDM’s website and local visibility work.
  • Introduce the opportunity through thoughtful outreach and follow up.
  • Keep simple notes so conversations are organised and useful.
  • Share feedback from the market and bring promising conversations to the team.

What you gain

Training from sales to websites, marketing and ongoing improvement.

  • A practical introduction to sales conversations, marketing research, and business communication.
  • Guidance on presenting a service clearly without overselling it, and understanding how an agency earns trust.
  • Exposure to the foundations of website strategy, design and development, from briefs and user journeys to content and handover.
  • Responsible AI workflows for research, content preparation, workflow support and ongoing digital improvement.
  • A clearer understanding of how websites, local visibility, and customer decisions connect.
  • Constructive feedback and check ins while you develop your approach.

Who this suits

You do not need a marketing degree or previous sales title.

  • Current university students or recent graduates based in Bahrain.
  • Students in marketing, business, design, computer science, software development, communications, media, or related majors. Curious applicants from other fields are welcome too.
  • People who communicate clearly in English; Arabic is valuable too.
  • Curious, organised, reliable people who can work independently.
  • Comfortable speaking to businesses respectfully and learning from feedback.
  • Able to make time for consistent outreach and occasional meetings or check ins.

How commission works

Clear expectations before you begin.

This opportunity is commission based. There is no guaranteed salary and we do not publish a percentage because each successful engagement can have a different scope. The commission arrangement is explained clearly before any work begins, and payment is linked to the agreed outcome of completed client work.
